Perplexity support took 4 months to respond to my ticket, enough time for promotion offer to expire. They have now declined to honour it.
No exception offered, no escalation path. Just a "sorry, watch for future promos."
The core product is interesting, but if you're evaluating Perplexity for anything beyond casual use, factor in that their support infrastructure does not appear to be resourced for timely responses. For a paid tier product, that's a meaningful risk.
